There is a word 'ICHIJU-ISSAI' (a cup of soup and a main dish) in Japan. It means Rice, Miso soup, Pickled vegetable and a main dish. (Sometimes it becomes bread, soup, salad, and a main dish.) It shows a basic Japanese style of food and we think it is well- balanced. There is another word 'ICHIJU-SANSAI' (a cup of soup and 3 dishes). As you expect, ICHIJU-SANSAI is richer and more foods. 'ICHIJU-ISSAI' is simple and sometimes just used vegetables. We serve this style at the restaurant and as bento style in delivery. We are trying to use more vegetables and serve well-balanced food to you. Some regular customers are adding more vegetables by themselves when they order the food on delivery. I think they must manage themselves well. My mother is a nutritionist as well as a professional cook. When she was in Japan, she has worked at school, hospital, factory and company. Since she had to calculate vegetables and meat more than tons and salt and sugar more than kilograms for foods, she said she went mad soon after her graduate. By the way, we have started a new menu. We hope you like it. We are using more vegetables, too. I will introduce it tomorrow.
