I would like to introduce one of healthy Japanese dish. You may be able to try it when you have OMAKASE Kaiseki lunch at the restaurant. :> This is called KOHAKU NAMASU which means
Red and white dish. Red and white is the colour of delight and happiness in Japan.
Red is carrot and white is Daikon radish and then we serve with vinegrated fish and kelp which also has a meaning delight. We have it as a usual dish at home though it is necessary at the ceremonial lunch and dinner in Japan. We serve a Japanese herb or sesames on top. And Yuzu tangerine's flavour gives stimulus on your appetite! Hope you enjoy it!
