A happy new year to you! あけましておめでとうございます。

Wish you a happy new year!  Thank you for visiting us the last day of the year yesterday.   We think it is special to welcome a new year in Japan and there are some customs have to do on the last day and the first day of the year in Japan.  A very common custom is to eat Soba (buckwheat) noodles on the new year's eve.  It is said it keeps off bad lucks and bring good lucks, of course, there is no scientific evidence but a tradition.
