Good morning, dear customers!  We open everyday except for Tuesdays and dinner is required the reservation in advance.  We prepare Japanese course menu and it is flexible to arrange your menu upon your request.  Please feel free to contact us and looking forward to meeting you at Cafe Japan!

Dear Valued Customers

Thank you for patronaizing our restaurant.
We would like to inform you that we will close the restaurant
temporary. Cause of our health conditions, we'd
better to take a rest for a while.

We stop our business at the end of May 2017 here for the moment.
Until then. we serve lunch as usual, but dinner only reservations.
Please feel free to ask us by phones .

We are very sorry to you as we do not have your personal contacts and could not tell you in person.  We will start at the next place after the enough rest.  Let us know your contact details if you would like to have the information the next opening in advance.

平素よりカフェジャパンをご愛顧頂きまして、誠にありがとうございます。
突然ですが、5月末をもちまして、Cafe Japanを休業致します。理由は、当方の体調不良です。静養第一でのんびりすれば、前よりも元気になるそうです。そこで、思い切って休業することにしました。
休業中、皆様にご迷惑をおかけすることになり、申し訳ございません。なお、5月の営業はいままでどおりとさせて頂きますが、夜の営業は予約のみとさせて頂きます。
月曜日　お昼の宅配とお持ち帰りのみ
火曜日　定休日
水曜日から金曜日　お昼の営業　　12:00から15：00
土曜日　日曜日　お昼の営業　11：30から15；00
水曜日から日曜日まで、夜はコースでの予約のみ承ります。
夜の特別コースはお一人様五千ルピー、七千ルピー、一万ルピーの3コースのみで、予約時にご希望を伺います。リクエストも承りますので、遠慮なくご要望をお申し付けくださいませ。
皆様には長い間ご愛顧頂きまして、誠にありがとうございました。また皆様にお会いできますのを心よりお待ち申し上げます。

Hinamatsuri Girls' festival ひな祭り

You may know them and you might see them at Cafe Japan.  We have already decorated dolls in the beginning of February.  A traditional festival will be held on 3rd of March in Japan.   We call it Hinamatsuri - Girls' festival.   The parents pray and celebrate their daughters' health, wealth and happiness.  Every year, the special dolls are decorated at home for about a month until 3rd of March.  We enjoy the beginning of the spring season as well and make some special foods and sweets.   We can not enjoy Sakura cherry blossoms and other spring floweres here though we may enjoy making the special sweets here.   Looking forward to meeting you!

すでにご来店のお客様はご存じだと思いますが、今年も雛人形を飾っております。日本にいますと四季の移り変わりを感じるものですが、コロンボにいますと年中夏のようでなかなか四季を感じることができません。ですが、このようにちょっとは日本の雛祭りらしく飾って、春の花を愛でることはできませんが、雛祭りの特別和菓子を作ってみようかなと考えております。

Hello! How are you?  We had a lot of rain and a little colder last month but it is getting clear and sunny these days in Colombo.  We have Sri Lanka's Independence day in February but we are going to open as usual.   Looking forward to seeing you at Cafe Japan.
皆様、いかがお過ごしですか？先月は雨の日も多く涼しい日も続きましたが、最近は天気のいい日が続いていますね。涼しい時期も大変すごしやすいですが、天気のいい日は出掛けたくなりますよね。今月は、スリランカの独立記念日がありますが、いつも通り月曜日宅配のみ、火曜日お休みで営業させて頂きます。皆様のご利用をお待ち申し上げます。
