We usually close on Tuesdays and Poyaday and the Poya day was on Tuesday in June.
When I tell my friend about Sri Lanka's Poya day which is the holiday on Full moon day every month, all my friends say it is beautiful and very good or holly day! Yes, some liquor lovers may feel disapointment at the alchol free day though I think it is a good chance to be patient and respect the culture. After I knew about Poya day, I have started to see the moon wherever I am in the world. Until then, I felt busy everyday and could not afford to see the moon.
By the way, thank you so much for having our foods at home and restaurant. Looking forward to hearing from your order this month, too!
毎日暑い日が続きます。皆様いかがお過ごしですか？
今月は、ポーヤデーが火曜日でしたので、火曜日だけのお休みとなります。
私は、友人にスリランカのポーヤデーのことを話すのですが、だいたい、「すごく素敵！」とか、
「ロマンティックだねー。」などと言われることがあります。お酒好きな方は、禁酒日なのでがっかりされますが、月に一日ぐらい禁酒の日があってもいいのかなあと思ったりします。私は、それまで月を意識してみることがなかったのですが、ポーヤデーを知ってからは（休みなので）、空を見上げて月を見る機会が増えました。昔は、毎日に追われている気がして、月を見る心の余裕もなかったのかもしれません。
さて、先月もたくさんのお客様の来店と注文ありがとうございました。来店が重なりますとお食事を出すのが遅くなることがあり、ご迷惑をおかけしていますが、お客様の優しさに感謝しております。今月もがんばります！
