A letter from COMO! コモからの手紙

Last summer, Grazia from Como in Italy visited us. She has traveled in Sri Lanka and the last day of her stay in Sri Lanka she visited Cafe Japan. We were so happy she visited our restaurant in her last day though it was very difficult to find our place and to hear she liked our food and enjoyed food and Cafe Japan. She offered to open Cafe Japan in Como! If we could, it would be lovely. I know it is a beautiful place and food must be tasty, too! Thanks for the note, Grazia. If you can, could you write some about Cafe Japan in Italian? I think it will be nice if anyone could write about Cafe Japan in your languages, English, Russian, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, Thai, Sinhalese, Tamil, and so on. I will make a box to show them!

昨年夏に、イタリアのコモからスリランカに旅行に見えたグラシアさんからメールが届きました。グラ シ アさんは、スリランカ旅行最終日にカフェジャパンに来てくださいました。日本食がお好きなようで、カフェジャパンの食事と雰囲気を楽しんで帰って下さいま した。私たちが何よりも嬉しかったのは、このわかりにくいカフェジャパンにわざわざ足を運んで下さったことです。（笑）
ありがとうございました！
コモは私もいつかは行ってみたいところです。コモで、レストランを開いたらいいわよ！と言って下さったので、行ってみたいですね～。

ところで、写真の植物の名前ご存知ですか？
「セクシー・ピンク」と言うのだそうです。

Why? Ping-pong? 卓球台？

At Cafe Japan, now you can play Table tennis (Ping-Pong)! It is one of our hobbies and just leave it in the restaurant for the guests, too. One night, the birthday party was held at Cafe Japan. They enjoyed playing Table tennis and we were also happy to see it. And some other customers are interested in it, too! We leave it in the restaurant for a while. ;>

「何故？」と、お思いでしょうが、ただいま、カフェジャパンのライブラリーに卓球台を設置しております。ご自由にお使いください。
先 日夜、誕生日パーティをされたお客様（ティーンエイジャーたち）が卓球を初めて試され、楽しんでおられました。私たちも、お客様が楽しんでおられた様子を 見て、うれしくなりました！意外にも楽しんで下さるお客様が他にもいらっしゃいますので、しばらく、設置しておきます。;>




One day, a 4-year-old boy made a tower of rackets! We did not notice until the shop was closed. He spent a long time in the library and finally he did it. I tried the same though I knew it was difficult more than I have expected.

ある日、４歳の男の子が卓球台のある部屋に長い時間いました。店を閉めてから気付いたのですが、その男の子が卓球ラケットでタワーを作っていたのです。
見事！その後、私も同じことをやってみたのですが、それが案外難しい・・・。

Hi everyone! Just April has started today. We will close the shop from
11 April to 19 April for Sri Lanka New year. We will open the restaurant
until 10th lunch. We are sorry for causing inconvenience to valued customers
