Sushi on party みんなで御寿司

Hi everyone, how are you?
This is the sushi arrangement for the home party. We serve several kinds of Makisushi (Rolled sushi) in the boxes on your request. Makisushi (Rolled sushi) is popular as finger snacks for the party and we have some finger snacks like Karaage (Japanese style fried chicken or fish), mini-Yakitori (small chicken skewered stick) and etc.
From a small getting together party to a big party, we can arrange sushi varieties and quantity upon your request.
By the way, Sushi is vinegared rice in Japanese. Sashimi is sliced fresh fish (raw fish). Nigiri sushi is sashimi on sushi rice and Maki sushi is sushi rolled by egg or sea plant.
We hope you will enjoy our sushi with your family and friends!

これは、ある日、お客様から注文頂いた寿司です。今回は、握り寿司ではなく、巻き寿司の注文でした。大きなパーティだと、立食形式が多いので、簡単につまめる巻き寿司が人気のようですね。大きなお皿に盛ることもありますが、このように箱詰めにして宅配することもあります。お客様の人数や希望で内容も変えられます。どうぞお気軽にご相談下さい！
スリランカの方も含め外国人の方の中には、刺身と寿司が同じものだと思っているお客さまもいらっしゃいます。なので、少し、英文に説明を加えました。

Sacred treasures to us 神器

We have a lot of items need to cook. This is an important item of them - the scale.
It is able to calculate the genuine weigh of materials without containers. Especially it helps a lot when we make Japanese sweets. A small difference of quantity causes failures. This is a little sensitive work! That is why this is a sacred treasure to us.

お料理に欠かせないのが、量りです。いつも、この量りで確認をしています。キッチンのあちらこちらに設置していて、いつでも使えるようになっています。いつも時間との戦いなので、仕事を効率よく仕上げなくてはならないのです。特に、和菓子を作る時には、欠かせません。ちょっとの分量の違いで、失敗してしまうからです。

A favorite Sri Lanka's snack 最近のはまり物

Hi everyone. This is one of my favorite Sri Lankan food which is Polu Rotti (Coconuts rotti). The subtle coconuts flavour and spicy onion hit me! A three wheeler-ed bakery shop visits every morning and evening in our area and I buy when I heard his song. It is so yummy with Sri Lankan milk tea.

こんにちは！カフェジャ　ネタではありませんが、スリランカのスナックの紹介です。
最近はまっているのが、この「ココナッツロティ（ポル　ロティ）」です。中に唐辛子がはさんであって（今日本で流行の食べる唐辛子みたいな！）、かすかなココナツの香りがマッチしてとてもおいしいです。毎日、朝と夕方になると、三輪車を改造した移動パン屋さんがやってきます。そこで、買うのですが、食欲のない時でも、ミルクティと一緒に食べると何だか元気になります。

Japanese portable lunch - ONIGIRI pack おにぎりパック

Hi friends, how are you?
This is a new menu - Japanese lunch Onigiri pack. Onigiri is a riceball. It is a common portable lunch and usually we bring to offices and schools. There are Karaage chicken, Fried prawn, Eggroll, and 2 pcs of Onigiri in the plastic cup and comes with Miso soup.

今回、行楽弁当でも案内差し上げました「おにぎりパック」です。色々と名前を考えましたが、いい名前が思い浮かばず・・・。「おにぎりバスケット」でもないし、「おにぎりセット」とか？

紛らわしいのですが、従来の「おにぎり弁当」と新メニューの「おにぎりパック」は、内容が違います。案内を御覧くださいませ。案内が届いていない場合は、改めて送付いたしますので、お知らせ下さい。すぐに案内を送付いたします。

この「おにぎりパック」は、行楽弁当シリーズの一つではありますが、通常メニューとして、いつでも購入頂けて、他のお弁当と同様にお味噌汁がつきます。どうぞ、お試し下さい。

Fisherman 's delicacy なめろう

Hi everyone! How are you? We are so happy to have your calls and you asked us how our holidays were. We feel personal warmth a lot. Thank you for asking. We had a good holidays and enjoyed a hotter summer than Sri Lanka in Japan. :>
Thank you for your inquiries during holidays, too. We were happy to hear from you as well as sorry we missed informing you about our holidays. Many customers seemed to worry if Cafe Japan has shut down! Don't worry we are alive and we start the service from today. We are looking forward to seeing you and serving a good food from Cafe Japan!

This is two kinds of Sashimi - Horse-mackerel delicacy. It is called "NAMERO" means in English 'Licking'. This recipe originally comes from Fishermen. It is difficult to eat Sashimi (sliced fish) with soya-sauce (SHOYU) on the deck and they chop mackerel fresh from the sea on the board and eat on the deck. After chopping the mackerel with Miso paste or Soya sauce and some spices, it becomes a little sticky and you can just eat it without any sauce.
The name 'Licking' comes from its taste. It is so tasty as we can not stop licking it. Though usually we eat it with Japanese sake (Rice wine), we had it with white wine since my mother likes white wine. It seems they have a good chemistry, too!


皆様、お久しぶりです！Cafe Japanも夏期休業が終わり、本日から営業始まりました。
今日は、お昼、ランチに来て下さったお客様から、「お久しぶりです。」と声をかけて頂き、嬉しくなりました。宅配弁当注文のお客様からも、「夏休みはどうだったかい？楽しんだかい？今日は、注文できるかい？」とおっしゃって頂いたり、中には、外国人のお客様で実際にお会いしたことがないのに、こんな風に気軽に話しかけて下さって、嬉しくなります。また、今日からがんばりますので、どうぞよろしくお願い致します。

今日は、鯵が新鮮だったので、「なめろう」を頂きました。なめろう2種です。一つは、昆布の上に味噌をきかせたなめろう。もう一つは、たたき風です。私は、味噌風味が好きでしたが、たたき風のさっぱりした方が好きという方も・・。
なめろうとは、もともと、漁師さんが作っていた料理だそうで、釣ったばかりの魚を船の上で食べる時に、醤油をこぼさないように、味をつけて板の上でたたいて作ったのだそうです。
名前の由来もなめてしまうほど美味しいという所からきたとか！？
確かに、お酒がすすみました。母は、白ワインが好きなので、白ワインと一緒に飲みましたが、合性もよかったようです。
