shiitake Mashrooms シイタケ

This is dried shiitake mushrooms using for basic broth, simmered vegetables and  soups!  It is useful and necessary to cook Japanese foods.  For taking broth, we use Kelp seaweeds and dried bonito as well.  As you know, dried bonito is used for making Sri Lankan curry and it is known as "Umbalakada".  When we knew it, we feel sympathy.  It is interesting to know about local foods as it shows history, climate, lifestyle and so on.  And the most interesting thing is to know a lot of tasty food.
