Vesak Lantern ウェサックのランタン

 In Sri Lanka, we had Vesak Poya day on 21 May.  The town in Colombo was decolated with beautiful lanterns all places.   We had also made our small lantern with kids.　We made lanterns before, too.  You can see here and here in our past blog.
スリランカでは、5月21日の満月の日にウェサックポーヤデーを迎えました。コロンボ市内は綺麗なランタンで飾りつけされて美しいです。ウェサックポーヤデーについては、以前のブログの記事でご覧ください。過去のランタンの写真もありますよ。

The kids were delighted to see the lantern's light.  I think this is a funcy and beautiful custom.
今年も子供と一緒にランタンを作りました。電気が付いたときは、とても喜んでいましたよ。
